As far back as 1925 Tullio Sgambaro was renowned for his culinary specialties and in 1947 opened the first Sgambaro pasta factory in Citadella (Padua) Italy.
The company remains a family run business today and in 2002 became the first and only pasta company to be awarded the Grano Duro Certificato certifying that only 100% Italian Durum Wheat Semolina harvested from the plains of Puglia and milled at the companies own granary are used to produce a truly artisan quality pasta.
